Reunion activities continued with a tour of the high school.
The is one thing you have to know about Rhinelander. It is the home of the Hodag. A mythical creature that lives in the north woods. There is quite an interesting story about how the Hodag came to be, which you can read here. The Hodag was even featured on a recent episode of Scooby_Doo.
We drove by the house that Clay lived in while in Rhinelander.
Then we met up with more classmates for a picnic at Buck Lake. The kids had a great time playing together. I spent my time looking for loons...talking about the bird, not people.
That evening was another "happy hour" at the bowling alley. This time just Clay and Shaylin went.
