Vacation -Day 16 -Upper Peninsula

We left Rhinelander to drive north through the upper peninsula of Michigan. We stopped at the northern end of Lake Michigan. It was so beautiful with crystal clear water. I was not expecting that. We took out our camping chairs and had lunch right there.

We got to drive over the Mackinac Bridge.
We stopped in Ann Arbor, Michigan to walk around Clay's alma mater.
My favorite building on campus that I have seen is the law library. Such beautiful architecture, stained glass windows, ivy climbing up the sides.

Wouldn't you just love to sit and read in a room like this? Of course I probably wouldn't get much reading done. I would just be gazing at all the different minute details of the room. Taking it all in.
