Here is the Potomac River.
We took White's Ferry into Maryland and drove up to the Temple. It takes an extra 30 minutes or so to go this way, but it was a very pretty drive through lots of farm land.

The gang sitting on the temple steps. The temple was closed for cleaning, so we thought it would be a good time to take the girls to see the temple and visitors' center.

I've heard there have been a lot of accidents on the freeway because of this temple. The temple just all of a sudden appears through the trees. I remember seeing it when I was going to Quantico. So beautiful.
