On Sunday we went to the local church building. It was a small congregation with lots of visitors. Afterwards, we went back to old Nauvoo to see more of the buildings. Our first stop was the Blacksmith's_Shop. Here the girls are showing off their "prairie diamond" rings.
We headed over to the Boot_Shop where Rebekah seemed to fit right in with the other visitors.
The girls enjoyed pretending to fetch a pail of water at the Post_Office_and_Mercantile.
After a few more shops we drove an hour away to visit Carthage_Jail. We had a wonderful experience there. They do a great job of retelling the story of the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith.
