Into the woods...

Tonight while reading stories to the girls, we heard an owl. I opened up the back door so we could hear it better. This is what we heard:
It was a Great Horned Owl. It is so cool to just be sitting at home and hear things like the owls.

Nathan did a huge unit on owls last month and knows an amazing amount of facts about them. I showed him the pic and he knew just what it was! How great to get to see (and hear!) them up close in person!
