Ferry ride -Day 30

We took a ferry ride to Kingston, had lunch, and came back. Well, that was the plan. But Grandma left her hat at the restaurant. Clay ran back to get it and had to take a later ferry. Rebekah and I had a fun time playing on the beach while we waited for Clay.

Emma & Grandma Deanna (Clay's mom). We love you Grandma!!!

Seattle -Day 29

Clay took Emma bowling while Rebekah was napping. She has gotten so used to doing something fun every day, that sitting around the house is no longer acceptable.
Rebekah loved feeding Grandma's teddy bears.

"Right there."
"Those aren't Christmas trees, they don't have any ornaments on them."

Playing pooh sticks.

Carousel -Day 27

Emma had her 1st birthday in Oregon and we took her to Salem's Riverfront Carousel. Grandad got her a t-shirt and she had a great time. So we went back. These horses are hand carved.
Here is Rebekah in Emma's old shirt.

Clay's getting fancy with the camera.

After the Carousel we drove to Eugene, OR to see Hans' house. We hiked up Skinner Butte to see the town and the sunset.

Oregon Coast -Day 24

So if you haven't figured it out yet, Rebekah LOVES animals. Here are a couple of shots of her with Grace, Kris' dove.

Bruce & Kris took us out to the coast to fly kites. It isn't anything like the beaches in Southern California. It is much colder, and really no one is in the water. You go there to fly kites, not sunbathe or surf. Here is Clay flying a kite.

Here is Emma flying a kite.

Here is Grandad flying his trick kite.

Clay trying his dad's trick kite.

Rebekah is so good, she can fly TWO kites!

When we got back home we decided play with bubbles.
